Our B & B has five rooms all with private baths and a beautiful view. Two Newfoundland rooms, one “African” room and one “European” room pay homage to the owner’s heritage as well as reflect his love of Newfoundland and Labrador, and new this summer we are opening The Loft; a spacious suite that is sure to impress. And wait until you meet our Alma! Any questions you may have Alma will be more than willing to answer. Originally from the area and someone who worked for the Trinity Pageant for years, Alma will help you see The Bonavista Peninsula like a local and make you feel right at home at The Compass. She is one of Newfoundland’s treasures both as a tour guide and cook!

The Bonavista Peninsula is one of Newfoundland and Labrador's prized treasures. Enjoy a local beer at the Port Rexton Brewery, see the puffins in the beautiful town of Elliston or take in their Roots, Rants and Roars Festival. Drive on into the town of Bonavista and spend the day shopping at local crafters shops, visit the Dungeon or take in the view at the historical lighthouse. Of course whale watching is a must on this part of the island and depending on the time of year, you'll have the perfect view of icebergs. This and much more awaits you in paradise!

Enjoy a leisurely walk through the picturesque town of Trinity, take in one of the nightly shows or feast on delicious Newfoundland cuisine and don't forget to visit Sarah's Chocolates and some of the best craft shops you'll find on the island. No doubt you will enjoy the unique charm and hospitality for which this province has become famous right here in Trinity.
